FAQ
Sure they can! To participate in the European Millionaire Maker from outside the EuroMillions countries, you only need to buy your EuroMillions ticket online on the week when the raffle is held. It doesn’t matter if it´s for Tuesday, Friday, or both draws. You will get your code printed on your ticket, wherever you live! If you play online on theLotter, you can participate in the raffle via EuroMillions Spain or EuroMillions Austria. If you are lucky enough to win, you will receive a notification! And, of course, your EuroMillions prize!
The UK Millionaire Maker is held every Friday and it guarantees 2 winners of £1 million per draw (both Tuesday and Friday). The European Millionaire Maker, on the other hand, takes place a couple of times per year and guarantees 25 winners of €1 million (£1 million for the UK) in all the participating EuroMillions countries.
When both the European and the UK Millionaire Maker take place, players in the UK are entered in both raffles with the same code. Two raffles with one ticket! This also happens in other EuroMillions countries that host raffles during that week, such as the El Millón in Spain or the My Million raffle in France.
The odds of winning the EuroMillions lottery are the same for each draw, but that is not the case for the European Millionaire Maker raffle. These are different for each raffle draw because they depend on the number of tickets that are sold and the number of codes that are generated. The more tickets sold, the more codes that go into the race for the 25 €1 million prizes, and the harsher the odds of winning them.
